wow, i forgot about this. life got so much better than livejournal but it's so quiet now. forces beyond my control have brought me back. so much has happened. i don't look like that anymore. i don't feel like that anymore. what a life. what opportunities. i am grateful. |

dear lj,
hi, how are you? i am fine. where have i been? in a deep hole of saying yes when i should have been saying no, and now i am working madly to recover a $125 printing error. joy of joys. it seems to me, lj, that life is quickly passing by with so many commitments. one movie, one showcase, one scene for class, 2 shows to produce, while saving my face. it's time for a gym. it's time to slow down. it's time to watch all the movies i got for my birthday and learn to play canasta.
i need to hire an assistant. do you know of anyone who would work for edamame? i make good edamame. then again, who doesn't. *sigh. how bout just for the pleasure of my company?
wow. i love my life though. the karaoke soiree was a huge hit and i still have yet to download the pics, and i got to see eureka, ca. and travel along the columbia from pomeroy to portland. i got to see some idaho that i never knew existed. i wondered what kind of people lived there, and then i saw napoleon dynamite. i understood then.
well, back to the battle. it's been fun. miss ya, and maybe i'll check back sooner than later.

dear lj,
hihowareyouiamfine. going to second city, improv olympic, dc, broadway baby!!!!
so avenue q or wicked? both look terribly wonderful. 'course i also want to see a play off broadway, no music. today i was warned that i really needed to hold onto my purse cuz it really happens in ny and not just on tv. yeah, carrie bradshaw didn't seem to handle getting her shoes ripped off.
i can't wait, lj! even if i don't see any shows in ny, we'll walk around for 4 days staring at the lights...the pretty lights....lights.......
and we'll need to walk off all the food from chicago. it will be a personal taste test weekend. which is better, chicago or ny pizza? i'm bringing back bagels and rip offs from chinatown. so much to do and see! when we'll we fit it all in? weehaw!
also the grandfather is ready to see us. time for more great war stories and cheesecake! we may be able to see some civil war stuff if he naps long enough, or it will be more laurel and hardy. not too bad of a trip!
starting your own business certainly has its rewards. you only live once. i'm glad it's not at a desk, for everyone else that likes desk....glad you like them.
of course, i'm at my desk, but it's at home. wait, it's still a desk, and it's still office work, but then again, my cat is like my boss, always looking over my shoulder, making me redo things by pounding on the keys. it's time for vacation.

hey lj! how are you? i am fine!
i was a sniper last saturday night. #1 in accuracy. we're taking laser tag. oh yeah! i ranked in the middle range both games. not bad for a 32 year old woman who hasn't been a member of the NRA since she was 13, but hey, i still had an advantage. most of these californians have never even held a toy gun. it's funny to be a sniper, sitting back, observing people's behavior. some were having fun, some were out of breath and too old and tired to be playing a kids game, some were sickly living out their fantasies (enlist already!), and some played video games instead. lj, so you know, air hockey is a great counterpart to laser tag. either way, it was more exercise than some anticipated, but highly necessary for us all.
all in all, it was a fabulous adventure, as was Dodgeball. what a great game. i had a love hate relationship with it, but it taught so many values on the parking lot of my elementary school. some kid last year was seriously hurt so they banned dodgeball in some schools. now, hollywood is glorifying it! muy interesante. then there was the terminal. terminally long when poor catherine was on the screen. i'm wondering if she did this movie after the baby, cuz her heart just wasn't in this film. tom rawks!
now more fun with fonts, and then some Buying the Cow with the 14 year old. lj, you're the best!

dear lj,
hi how are you i am fine. 2 am. crying. i want to move to japan and want to go the way of the peaceful warrior and see the pink trees.
this morning, 9:30, i sit peacefully, with a turbie towel on my wet locks and ponder today's walk with the chubby kid in fryman canyon. will it be a journey into self exploration, meditation, the heart, or will i have to pull out my sword and fight off ninjas?
perhaps before i do anything i should have some green tea. ha ha ha! lj, that's funny because i drink coffee in the morning and there ain't no way this white american gonna drink no tea in the a.m. uh oh, this may be the cause of internal struggle and dreams of bad things i've seen! maybe it's just gas from too many potato chips and soda?

hi how are you? i am fine, good. is it odd that marlena (days of our lives) still looks the same as she did as electrowoman? dyna girl never made it to soaps though, huh? ah, i love the kroft super stars. next to rent: land of the lost (the original). certain loved ones must be educated on the subject of chaka and enoch, grumpy and dopey.
saw stepford wives, lj, and it was just as good as the first one. what does that mean? hmmmm? i'm so glad though now it's out, cuz now all those dumbasses from the beauty bar at halloween 2 years ago can finally get that i was a stepford wife. only a few got it and there must have been 100 people there. whew! retribution!

dear lj,
today i woke up late and rushed the dogs to the vet. walk-in day you see and first come first serve. so, i was about 10 pets too late, and while they were telling me i'll have to come back later, one dog proceeded to shit on the floor while the other one peed. the vet assist loudly proclaims, "your dog is taking a shit on the floor". then immediately apologized for saying "shit". so, what do you do while the dog is shitting? drag her across the floor and toss her outside? let her continue, laugh in their faces, and say, "well, that's your job now", or apologize and say you'll clean it up. i did the latter, but this happens all the time at the vets. so, why the big production?
so good morning. i am now having coffee. i need a nap.

dear lj,
hi! how are you? i am fine. hey, i went to tijuana and was offered low low prices on t-shirts, handbags, rugs, wrestler masks, retin-A, liquor, smokes, blouses, yet the one that caught me off guard was the offer for a glass pipe. hmmm. i hadn't even had a margarita yet! do i have stupid drug addict american on my forehead?
so, in class yesterday, i learned that i won't find joy until i start helping myself instead of others and that backstabbing assholes will always be present in my life until i learn the lesson that i can't help everyone and it's okay that someone else feels like shit. interestingly true. so have a crappy day everyone, today i don't care!
so i bought myself some dvds (in addition to some for someone else, only because i don't care). i can't wait! i love getting packages! wheee! half.com. the place to shop and learn about phillipino and asian imports. do you know what GBP means? ebay anyone?
so, mama's got a new computer set up thanks to the pop-in-law who popped in for a visit this past weekend! yeah me!
i can't seem to tear myself away....must.......get...........smog check and .......oil change!

on a tour of elmolicious lj land, i have learned that i am a blonde high school character, i am orlando the american city, and that i am as big a dork as the rest of the world. is there a test i haven't taken?
today, at stuntman school, i flew, fought, and spun. i love LA! i never thought, lj, that i'd be flipping and falling. i am so learning to not be afraid of anything. ha! wait til next time. i'm still not healed from the last bloody event. i am sore, sunburned, and stinky! there was only one other girl there and her name was Egypt and she wasn't a hooker, but a contortionist. ouch. must be kinky though! ah, i remember my limber days.....pow!
okay, time to grab a beer and download fonts!

big sigh. have to go to io for another show. i mean, uh, get to go to another show at io! wheeeee! and to see a play tomorrow night starrin' me mum. and do three shows this weekend!
so brian goodman is in my class now. who? star of third watch and in the last castle. hmm. don't remember him in last castle and don't watch 3rd watch. it's third on my list of shows t maybe see one day.
